# Fees & Sustainability

ApeEscape BananaFarm applies a 10% fee on all buy and sell transactions, with 7% allocated to the Bananabank Treasury and 3% directed towards marketing, development, and community engagement. These funds support buybacks, competitions, giveaways, and future growth.

To further ensure sustainability, selling more than 30% of a user's total apes' value in a single transaction triples the fee, reducing the final payout. This mechanism discourages excessive selling and encourages long-term participation, keeping the ecosystem balanced.

Additionally, a portion of the fees collected contributes to the Treasury, which is strategically invested in external revenue streams to further strengthen and sustain the ecosystem.\
\
Your Ape army needs to stay active to continue producing bananas. If you go too long without compounding or selling, your apes will stop working, and your banana production will drop to zero. Regular activity ensures you keep earning and growing your farm!
